Ralph Forsythe is the author of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John: A Parallel Comparison of the Four Gospels. He was born in Manchester, England 1929.
As a young boy, he lived through the Manchester Blitz during which time he was evacuated to the town of Congleton, South of his home. In adulthood his career moved him further South, from Lancashire and Norfolk and from there to Somerset before finally retiring to Barnstaple in North Devon.
Ralph, father of 3 and much beloved grandfather has been a lifelong Christian, from his youth as a member of both of the Manchester Octagon ConChurch and the Scouts, through to his marriage to Louie and beyond - both were devout members of the local Congregational church and later the Methodist church when the two merged.
This book developed from Ralph's interest in the shared evidence and the common threads within the four gospel stories and it is his belief that the accentuation of these commonalities and the ability to more easily explore each timeline and narrative can be a valuable tool in the teaching of the Christian faith and one which confirms of the views of modern Christian and biblical authorities.
